"i feel like crap and i can't snap out of it!".

We have all been there friend. Let me make to you warm tea, warm your snuggie wittle blankie in the dryer and sing you a song. Afterwards, I'll make dresses out of curtains for you and your seven siblings and take you for a ride in my rowboat! *clutches hands and spins*

being happy, being an optimist or being in a better mood then Debbie Downer shouldn't be mistake with being delusional to reality. We ALL know life is not a candy land of sunshine and rainbows. We came into this world crying! Happiness IS however, making an effort and a CHOICE to reframe a situation.

Take work for example. You didn't get the promotion you were hoping for and are feeling really sorry for yourself and understandably so. To re-frame it, you could call a meeting with your boss (once you are feeling stronger) and state your case as to what accomplishments you have made in the position and ask her what you can do to improve. Then, you can get the information you need to do a better job, move up, get more money and getter shoes! Boo-yaaa! Or create a voodo doll in her likeness and drive over it. Door #1 is taking action. Door #2 lets emotions run the show.
