ADVICE-MAKING A MASTERMIND LIST
Mastermind Goal setting. Ever heard of it? I hadn't either until a few months ago when Kisha Mays - brilliant event planner and speaker - asked me to be involved in this process. So here is the breakdown...
- Start brainstorming your Work and Personal Life Goals (two separate lists). Be detailed.
- Divide goals into 3 catagories: WHAT is the goal? HOW will you accomplish it? WHEN is it due?
- Set 3,6,9,12 month goals along with 2 and 3 year benchmarks.
- Create an excel spreadsheet. Timeline in the vertical, WHAT, HOW, WHEN in the horizontal.
- Have someone who will hold you accountable for your actions (or inaction) create the list with you. Every other week, arrange a time to do a check in and see where you are in relation to the 3 month goals. Once complete, celebrate together and move on to 6 month goals.
Honest, honest, this has really helped me narrow down the direction in which I'm moving and to have someone call me bi-weekly to check my progress, really holds me to my word! I hope this helps you put your dreams in to focus! Set the bar high, work backwards to see what needs to be done in order to attain that goal and start and the start to make it all happen!
