GIRLS WHO GET IT- SANDRA BULLOCK

It seems that those who know and work with Sandra Bullock agree that she is a class act. Sweet, silly and down to earth. But why do bad things happen to good people? To give them a chance grow into even better people. This spring was rough for her. We all know what happened. Oscar win one day, then the shit hit the fan and the fan exploded the very next day. That jerk...

After a few months healing from a very public divorce, Sandra tapped into the resilience that led her on the path to show-biz. In her twenties, Sandra moved to NYC to tackle her dreams of acting. She schlepped bus-bins and cleaned ashtrays while working random waitress and bartender gigs, knowing that it was for a limited time. Sandra's humbling hustle, created opportunities to act (for free), and it was then that she was noticed. A non-paying student acting job got her noticed by a director, who gave her the break that lead to SPEED, in turn catapulting her career.

Never give up and take advantage of all opportunities - even the ones that don't pay!

Aside from being a great actor (loved her in Crash) Sandra gives with a full heart. She has donated time and millions of dollars in response to the Indian Ocean Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina and recently the devastating earthquakes in Haiti. Her gorgeous son Louis was adopted from New Orleans and I hope sincerely hope his heart will mend hers.

Genuine and generous while keeping her head up in tough times,

Sandra Bullock is a Girl Who Gets It.
