ADVICE- TIME MANAGEMENT

Procrastination is the cousin of FEAR! We delay out of fear, ending up further away from the things we want, then we say "I never get what I want!". It's time to STOP that cycle. Someone once told me "You have the same 24 hours as people you admire. Not having enough time is no excuse." well when you put it that way...
As I take on more and more in my pursuit of success, how I manage my TIME is becoming uber important. The easiest way to get a lot done is to tackle the things that you can do FIRST! I'm a planner and list maker (i love me some lists!) but it can't stop there. I've found it helpful to break my master lists down into sections that I can knock out right away:
- Emails (check twice a day. re-read the past 2 weeks and reply, request or delete!)
- Calls (limit social calls and if you work at home, ringer goes OFF!)
- Action List (what is overdue? pending soon? what can I complete in 30 minutes or less?)
I've cut the idle Facebook time down to 15 minutes, and I'll reply to Tweets for about 10 minutes twice a day, rather then constantly checking, re-checking, reading and updating. It sounds scary to pull yourself away from thousands of your virtual friends, but you'll get more done and even have time to see your real buddies!
Ask anyone, working at home is hella hard, it takes serious discipline (note my slow posts lately!!) and courage to do what YOU want while ignoring temptations to watch Maury or read Perez Hilton all afternoon.
What you are doing is worth your time and the satisfaction from completing your tasks allows you to sleep well at night and take on more the next day! We do so much for others ladies, but loving yourself more is about ACTION and making the time to make you and your goals a priority.
GREAT QUOTES TO KEEP NEAR YOUR WORKSPACE!
Time is the coin of your life.
It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent.
Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you.
Carl Sandburg
The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot.
Michael Altshuler
A wise person does at once, what a fool does at last.
Both do the same thing; only at different times.
Baltasar Gracian
To think too long about doing a thing often becomes its undoing. (Think it, DO it!)

A year from now you will wish you had started today.
