Q&A-DREAM VS BILLS

One is canceling out the other (can you guess what one?) and I feel a part of my soul dying because of it. The thing is that this “dream” – I’m actually pretty good and it seems as soon as I put some energy into it, well, here come the bills. At the end of the workday, I’m wiped and the “dream” is an afterthought.

GIRRRRRRL...GO NO FURTHER...UNFORTUNATELY, I'M IN THE SAME POSITION (PRACTICALLY) AS YOU, SO I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN LEND ANY ADVICE. I NEED IT TOOOOO!! HELP PEOPLE!!! I DEFINITELY THINK A REALLY STRONG SUPPORT SYSTEM IS KEY THOUGH. THEY SAY IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD...BUT I KINDA FEEL LIKE I'M STILL IN NEED OF THAT "VILLAGE" LOL...AND I'M 30 YRS OLD! I JUST THINK ITS A NICE VIBE WHEN UR NOT ONLY REC'VING BUT LENDING A HELPING HAND (INFO, RESOURCES, ETC) TO LOVED ONES, NEIGHBOURS, & OTHERS IN THE COMMUNITY. LOVE YA GIRLY!! AND LOVIN THE BLOG...KEEP IT UP!!!!

@Andrea De. your name sounds so familiar (ha!)
speaking to you directly, you already KNOW what needs to happen- figuring out the dream is half the battle, claiming the talents that we have and following thru on our passions, its really the hardest part.
i was once told to plan out my 1,3,6,9 and 12 month goals. just write it down. where you want to be with the dream in a year, and work backwards as to how you get there. eg: if the goal is to win an Oscar, well you need to star in some movies, score auditions, acting schools, study the craft etc until you are right where u are today. then, turn it around and move forward and grab that award girl!
procrastionation is the cousin of fear, and if fear is holding you back, thats a whooole other convo.
